Laura Green is a Denver based contemporary realist artist.  She is also a wife and mother to three young daughters.

A realistic painting, drawing or sculpture is successful when it communicates the interconnectedness of the human experience.  Denver based musician and artist Laura Green explores a deeper wonder of beauty through her compositions. The auditory language of music and the visual language of art can transcend spoken words by effectively conveying to people of all languages the artist’s feelings about the world.  Laura paints realism to universally communicate how she experiences a moment in space and time.  Freezing these moments on canvas with paint by conveying an authentic encounter with her subjects allows her to honestly share her inner experiences with her viewers.  Laura’s contemporary realism rises against the distorted narratives that try to disorder the beautiful, the true, and the good.   She has joined this movement in art to expand upon the techniques of the masters that came before her and reflect these methods in a new age with a contemporary fervor.  Laura’s classical art training was attained through the Real Academy of Art in Denver where she studied under Master painter Ali Ghassan.  Real Academy of Art is a certified atelier art school through the Art Renewal Center.  Laura has shown her paintings in group exhibitions throughout Colorado.  She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Colorado State University.
